Hydrothermal preparation of LiFePO4 as cathode material for Li-ion battery and its performance study

Abstract：The pure phase LiFePO4 cathode material for Li_ion batteries was synthesized by hydro_thermal method,and it was coated with carbon by using sucrose as carbon source.The crystal structure and electrochemical performances were characterized by XRD,SEM and electrochemical performance test(LAND).The results showed that LiFePO4 sample was small particles of pure phase and regular sheets,and the batteries had long cyclic life and good reversibility using LiFe_PO4/C sample.
