Research on PAB electrolyte additive of lead-acid battery

Abstract：Influence of PAB additive on properties of lead-acid battery have been examined by cyclic voltammetry discharge at constant current. The experiment results show that: PAB additive can improve 8% of the initial capacity of battery and raise the energy density to 35Wh/kg, when continuous duty, the cyclic life was increased, but intennittent duty, the cyclic life was decreased, and the self discharge was higher.
