CT Diagnostic Value of Ectopic Bronchial Cyst

Abstract：Objective: To investigate thevalue of CT on diagnosing ectopic bronchogenic cyst (EBC). Materials and Methods: The CT findings of 2 cases of EBC confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results: Of 2 cases of EBC, 1 casewas located in the stomach esophagus district,another 1 case in left retroperitoneal region. It all showedmass with clear boundary and relatively high density, no enhancement in the cystic. One of 2 cases of EBCwas smooth and thick wall, enhance performance for circular reinforcement. Another onewas septum and calcification. Conclusion: CT scan and enhanced scan contributedto the diagnosis and differentialdiagnoses, CTwereconductivelyto judge the location and characteristics of the lesions. Itcouldclearly show the lesion area, shape, size, density, boundary and enhancement,butitwas diagnosed with bronchial cyst by pathology only.
