Abstract:Objective: To investigate the use of ECG-gated 320-slice spiral CT forward-looking narrow window acquisition techniques in reducing the radiation dose. Method:group of 50 patients using prospective ECG gating technology, the control group of 50 patients using retrospective ECG gating technology, we measured image quality and radiation dose between the two groups. Results:Comparing two sets of data, the basic situation of the patient such as age, heart rate, body weight and BMI (Body Mass Index, BMI) and image quality difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05), the effective radiation dose difference between the two groups statistically significant (P=0.000 1), prospective ECG-gated radiation dose group (8.80 ± 2.78) mSv was significantly lower than recalled gating group (25.82 ± 8.84) mSv. Conclusion: Prospective ECG-gated narrow window capture technology to ensure image quality while reducing radiation dose patients affected.
