The Analysis of Ring Artifacts SOMATOM AR

Abstract：The reason why ring artifacts appear in Somatom AR is analysed. The appearance of ring artifacts is related with working temperature and humidity. The hardware (includes Detector, hybrid and A/D inverter) multifunction is the main causes. The ring artifacts is also caused by position and angle's dis-adjustment between DAS, Tube and Collimator.
