Risk Factors Analysis of Pulmonary Embolism in Patients with Spontaneous Cerebral Hemorrhage
Abstract:Objective To explore the risk factors for pulmonary embolism in patients with spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage. Methods From January 2020 to December 2023, 47 patients with spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage combined with pulmonary embolism were selected as the pulmonary embolism group (n=47), including 26 males and 21 females, with an average age of (65.29±4.31) years, ranging from 52 to 79 years. Another 141 patients with spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage without pulmonary embolism during the same period were selected as the non-pulmonary embolism group (n=141). Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to identify the risk factors for spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage combined with pulmonary embolism, and the prognosis of patients was recorded after 6 months of follow-up. Results Logistic regression analysis showed that the risk factors for spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage combined with pulmonary embolism were advanced age, chronic pulmonary disease, deep vein thrombosis, and positive D-dimer at age-adjusted threshold. Protective factors included a high Glasgow Coma Scale score. Conclusion Advanced age, chronic pulmonary disease, deep vein thrombosis, positive D-dimer at age-adjusted threshold, and GCS scores are all influencing factors for pulmonary embolism in patients with spontaneous cerebral hemorrhage, with good predictive performance, and the combination of pulmonary embolism can increase the incidence of adverse prognosis.
