Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of long-term mild hypothermia and early enteral nutrition in patients with craniocerebral injury. Methods A total of 108 patients with craniocerebral injury were selected as the study objects, they were divided into observation group(n=54)and control group(n=54)according to random number table method.Ubiquitin carboxy-terminal hydrolase 1(UCH-L1),glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP),CNS specific protein(S100-β),systolic peak blood flow velocity(Vs),average blood flow velocity(Vm),pulse index, albumin, total protein, hemoglobin, malondialdehyde, superoxide dismutase(SOD)and reduced glutathione(GSH)were collected and compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The coma time,30-day survival time, disability rate and mortality of the two groups were observed. Results After treatment,UCH-L1,GFAP,S100-β,pulse index, malondialdehyde and SOD in observation group were lower than those in control group, while GSH,Vs and Vm were higher than those in control group, but lower than those in control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in albumin, total protein and hemoglobin between 2 groups(P>0.05).The coma time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the survival time was longer than that in the control group, and the 30 d disability rate and fatality rate were lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Long-term mild hypothermia combined with early enteral nutrition is beneficial to reduce cerebral nerve injury, improve nutritional status and reduce oxidative stress in patients with craniocerebral injury.
