Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of biowaves with early comprehensive rehabilitation therapy on awakening in coma patients with severe head injury. Methods A total of 90 coma patients with early severe craniocerebral injury admitted from February 2019 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into the combination group(biological wave combined with early comprehensive rehabilitation therapy,n =45)and the conventional group(early comprehensive rehabilitation therapy,n =45)by ran-dom number table method. After the treatment,Glasgow coma score(GCS),activity of daily living score(ADL),wake rate, pupil light reflex recovery, eye opening time and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After the treatment,GCS and ADL scores in the two groups were higher than before the treatment, and the combined group was higher than the conventional group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The wakefulness rate at 30 and 40 days after treatment was higher than 20 days after treatment in the two groups, and the wakefulness rate at 40 days after treatment in the combined group was higher than that in the conventional group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The recovery rate of pupil light reflex on 6 and 9 days after treatment was higher than that on 3 days after treatment in the two groups, and the recovery rate of pupil light reflex on 3 and 6 days af-ter treatment in combination group was higher than that in conventional group, and the pupil light reflex time and eye opening time in combination group were lower than that in conventional group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After treatment, there was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Biowaves with early compre-hensive rehabilitation therapy with has a better effect on promoting consciousness among the patients with severe head injury and co-ma,which can effectively reduce the duration of coma and improve consciousness disorders.
