Abstract:Objective To explore the blood loss volume after 3D printing individualized osteotomy mold assisted total knee arthroplasty(TKA).Methods A retrospective study was performed on 28 cases of patients that received TKA in the Gen-eral Hospital of Shenyang Military Command from April 2014 to April 2016.Among the patients,14 patients(18 knees)re-ceived TKA that were aided by customized 3D printing individualized osteotomy mold were in the treatment group ,another 14 patients(17 knees)that were treated with traditional TKA were in control group .The patients in both groups were given the oral anticoagulation(Rivaroxaban 10 mg/day)12 hours after the surgery to prevent the deep vein thrombosis of lower limb, the drainage tube was removed 48 hours after the surgery .The operation time and the volume of postoperative 48 hours drainage were recorded to calculate the total blood loss according to the formula .Results The operation time was(57.0 ± 7.3)minutes in the treatment group and (58.0 ±8.1)minutes in the control group, there was no significant difference be-tween the two groups(P>0.05).The volume of postoperative 48 hours drainage was(373.33 ±199.18)ml in the treatment group and ( 414.12 ±255.71 ) ml in the control group , there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The total blood loss was(522.86 ±317.73)ml in the treatment group and(789.99 ±355.82)ml in the control group ,there were statistically significant differences between the two groups ( P<0.05 ) .Conclusion Compared with the traditional TKA,3D printing individualized osteotomy mold assisted TKA plays a good supporting role in postopera-tive of rapid rehabilitation ,with significantly reducing trauma and total blood loss .
