Abstract:Objective To explore low dose of tramadol combined amitriptyline, gabapentin and separate application of car-bamazepine in the treatment of thalamic pain curative effect and adverse reactions occured. Methods Totally 50 patients with thalamic pain were randomly divided into treatment group ( n=25 ) and control group ( n=25 ) . Patients in treatment group received tramadol(50 mg,twice per day),amitriptyline(25 mg,3 times per day) and gabapentin(0. 3 g,twice per day)for four weeks. Patients in control group received carbamazepine(0. 3 g,3 times per day)instead. Visual analogue scale ( VAS) was used to evaluate analgesic effect. The clinical effective rate was calculated. The adverse reactions were observed. Results The VAS score after treatment was significantly lower in treatment group than that in control group(P<0. 05), the clinical effective rate was significantly higher in treatment group than that in control group(P<0. 05). The adverse reac-tions were mild in both groups. Conclusion The effect of low dose tramadol combined with amitriptyline and gabapentin on thalamic pain is better than carbamazepine with mild adverse reactions.
