Abstract:Objective To explore the adherence of nasal continuous positive airway pressure for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome( OSAHS) . Methods The investigation was sent to the 168 patients with OSAHS who accepted nC-PAP therapy. The factor influencing compliance were analyzed. Results The adherence rate of nCPAP was 44. 6%( 75/168) . The Epworth sleep scale scores, apnea hypopnea index values, the lowest oxygen saturation during sleep, and subjec-tive assessment for clinical outcome all improved more obviously in adherence patients, when compared to in-adherence ca-ses(P<0. 01). Conclusion Targeted health education should be offered for different patients to enhance their quality of life.
