Abstract:Objective To explore the research status and trends in the field of in-hospital treatment of ab-dominal traumas. Methods A bibliometric method was adopted.Relevant literature on in-hospital treatment of ab-dominal traumas published in the Web of Science from Jul.2014 to Jul.2024 was systematically retrieved and ana-lyzed.Bibliometric tools, namely CiteSpace and VOSviewer, were used to analyze the research status, themes, hotspots, and development trends in this field. Results A total of 1585 articles were included for bibliometric anal-ysis.Over the past decade, the research on in-hospital treatment of abdominal traumas has generally shown an up-ward trend. The United States was the country with the largest number of publications:612 articles."Inaba Kenji(21 articles)"and"Fu Chih-Yuan(11 articles)"ranked the maximum two contributing authors.Keyword analysis indicated the high-frequently discussed issues:treatment process, trauma types, and treatment methods.Among them, the keywords related to the treatment process were the most common. The temporal distribution of keywords revealed the minimally invasive and comprehensive trends in the diagnosis and treatment strategies of abdominal traumas. Conclusion Through a systematic summary of the research on in-hospital treatment of abdominal trauma in the past 10 years, the research hotspots and development trends in this field were revealed.Future research should focus on the combination of technological innovation and multidisciplinary collaboration, and continuously optimize the treatment process and management model to comprehensively improve the treatment effect and prognosis quality of patients with abdominal trauma.
