Abstract:The fingertip,as a key part of the hand to perceive the external world,is of great significance for appearance and functional integrity.Fingertip amputations caused by various trauma mechanisms are common in hand-surgery emergencies.Successful replantation is of great significance for restoring the hand function and appear-ance.The core of fingertip replantation is to accurately locate the arteries and veins and establish an effective blood circulation.Attention should be paid to the neural-function reconstruction, bone fixation, and nail-bed repair to a-chieve satisfactory results.Due to the slender blood vessels, thin vessel walls, and few number of blood vessels in the fingertip,it is difficult to establish a blood circulation, resulting in a high level of difficulty in replantation and fre-quent stump trimming. In recent years, with the progress of microsurgical techniques and equipment and constant improved skills of hand microsurgeons, remarkable progress has been made in finger-tip replantation. This article combines relevant domestic and foreign literature to analyze current and future strategies for fingertip replantation and share personal experience, aiming to provide reference and inspiration for professionals engaged in hand micro-surgery and to exchange experiences.
