Abstract：With the in-depth progress of biomedical research,the complement protein C1q,one of the signif-icant components in immune system,has been a research focus for its role and mechanism in various neurological in-juries,especially in the repair of spinal cord injuries(SCIs).C1q not only participates in the activation of the com-plement system through the classical pathways,but also engages in multiple cellular and molecular signal transduc-tion processes,playing a crucial role in the inflammatory response and neural function repair after SCIs.This review analyzes the structure and biological functions of C1q and summarizes the role and research progress of C1q protein in the repair of SCIs,aiming to explore its immunomodulatory effect after SCIs and provide new treatment strategies for SCIs.
