Abstract:Traumatic brain injury(TBI)has a high mortality and disability rate, with the mechanism of ex-cessive production of reactive oxygen species(ROS)in the early stage leading to secondary damage being particular-ly critical.Nanozymes,as a novel nanomaterial with enzymatic properties, have attracted wide attention due to their ability to selectively scavenge ROS.Compared to natural enzymes, nanozymes show significant advantages in catalyt-ic activity,cost-effectiveness,stability,and ease of storage. This review discusses the research progress of nanozymes in TBI treatment, systematically introduces the application research of organic nanozymes,cerium-based nanozymes, and single-atom nanozymes, and proposes a prospect for future development directions of nanozymes.
