Abstract:Traumatic brain injury(TBI)is a major challenge for medical service in modern naval warfare, which accompanies a high disability and mortality due to the harsh battlefield environment, high injury severity, and difficulties in evacuation. Therefore,it is crucial to deploy neurosurgical rescue resources in situ to conduct early specialist treatment for TBI.This paper reviews the historical experiences of various countries in training and deplo-ying neurosurgical forces in warfare, discusses the importance of implementing early treatment and realization strate-gies,and proposes the design of staged and modularised skill packages for different levels of naval medical person-nel,aiming to optimize the structure of the secondary treatment system through the concept of modularised training and to provide strategic support for TBI management in the future naval warfare.
