Abstract:Sepsis is a life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to infection.Trauma patients are at a high risk of sepsis and early warning is crucial for its prevention and treatment.Significant progress has been made in related research.Studies focusing on the analysis of risk factors and the establishment of predictive models using routine clinical data, plasma biomarkers, and screening of differential metabolites and sus-ceptibility genes are comprehensively reviewed,to provide insights for early warning research on sepsis after trauma.
