Abstract:Objective To compare the effects of internal fixation used PFNA with closed reduction under lateral position and supine position on orthopedic traction bed for intertrochanteric fracture. Methods Sixty-two cases of intertrochanteric fracture from Nov.2013 to Sept.2015 were selected in this study. They were divided into lateral position group(31 cases)and supine position group(31 cases)by matching design method. The differences in operation time, intraoperative blood loss, fracture healing time, postoperative recovery of the hip joint function be-tween the two groups were compared. Results All patients had been followed up,and the mean follow-up time were 12 months.Harris score and fracture healing time were not significantly different between the two groups(P>0.05).The operation time(1.116 ±0.174)h and intraoperative blood loss(64.516 ±40.235)mL in the lateral decubitus group were significantly better than those in the supine group((1.321 ±0.403)h,(108.387 ±49.806) mL,P<0.05).Conclusion Closed reduction and PFNA internal fixation under lateral position can meet the re-quirement of reduction of fracture. It can effectively reduce the operation time and blood loss and patient recovery time.It is worthy of clinical application.
