Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of CT measurement on the incision positioning of internal fixa-tion for multiple rib fractures. Methods Data of 52 patients with multiple rib fractures were retrospectively ana-lyzed,who were admitted into our hospital from Jan.2015 to Dec.2016.There were 34 males and 18 females, with an average age of 42.8 years(23 to 71).There were 32 cases of road traffic injury,8 cases of high falling injury,6 cases of falling injury and 6 cases of crushing injury. All the patients were performed with internal fixation surgery. The changes of VAS scores were compared before and after the operation. At the same time, the accuracy of sched-uled incision, the operation time and the length of the incision were compared between the CT measurement positio -ning group and the traditional positioning group. Results The VAS scores after operation were lower than those be-fore operation.CT measurement positioning can improve the accuracy of the scheduled incision, reduce operation time and incision length. Conclusion CT measurement has obvious effect on the incision positioning in the treat-ment of internal fixation with multiple rib fractures and has certain clinical significances.
