Effect on treatment of displaced femoral neck fracture with double-acting total hip arthroplasty

Abstract：Objective To analyze the effect of double-acting total hip arthroplasty on the treatment of dis-placed femoral neck fracture.Methods Totally of 36 elderly patients with displaced femoral neck fractures who were treated in our hospital from Feb.2015 to Feb.2017 were selected as subjects.According to the random num-ber method,the patients were divided into experimental group(double-acting total hip arthroplasty treatment)and control group(conventional total hip arthroplasty),with 18 cases in each group.The operation time of two groups, intraoperative blood loss,postoperative off-bed activity time and perioperative complications were observed and recor-ded.Results (1)The operation time of the experimental group was less than that of the control group[(65.1 ± 13.2)min vs.(76.5 ±18.4)min],the intraoperative bleeding was less than the control group[(339.2 ±14.6) mL vs.440.1 ±23.8)mL],the bedtime was lower than that of the control group[(3.1 ±1.5)min vs.(4.6 ±2.4)min],there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).(2)After operation,the recovery of hip function was better in both groups.The Harris score of the experimental group was higher than that of the con-trol group[(49.9 ±10.1)points vs.(38.4 ±5.3)points]at 1 month after operation.After 3 months,the Harris score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group[(89.3 ±13.5)points vs.(82.9 ±8.7) points].At 6 months after operation,the Harris score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group[(89.6 ±11.8)points vs.(82.4 ±5.1)points]The Harris score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group[(92.5 ±9.6)points vs.(84.6 ±6.3)points].The Harris score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group[(94.7 ±5.3)points vs.(87.2 ±3.5)points](P<0.05).(3)The quality of healthy living in the experimental group was better than that of the control group at 12 months after opera-tion,and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).Conclusions Compared with tradi-tional total hip arthroplasty,double-acting total hip arthroplasty treatment for displaced femoral neck fractures can significantly improve the patient's postoperative recovery,and improve the quality of life of patients.It is worthy of clinical application.
