Assessment and indicator system of trauma centers

Abstract:In Feb. 2017,National Health Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued a notice to request to improve emergency services,so as to earn more time to save the lives of pa-tients. The Taiwan hospital trauma emergency assessment focuses on improving the organization and disposal process,good quality of disposal and real-time disposal ability,and emphasizes that trauma centers need to have e-nough quantity of wounded patients. Trauma centers are distinguished as levels of severe, moderate and general, which is assessed by indicators including human facilities,operating energy,emergency medical types being able to provide,and abilities to deal with related emergency medical care. This paper summarizes the history and shortcom-ings of emergency medical service assessment in Taiwan hospitals,hoping to help guide the standardization of the construction of trauma centers,and to further improve the quality of trauma care.
