Curative effect of new medical foam in skin grafting

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of using new medical foam in skin grafting .Methods To-tally 58 cases with skin and soft tissue defect enrolled from Jun .2014 to May 2015 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 29 cases in each group .After skin grafting-the observation group was given the new medical foam for drainage and grafting while the other group was given the traditional medical foam for skin grafting.The device was removed after 7-9 days.The operation time, graft healing time,the survival rate of flap,the excellent and good rate and incidence of postoperative medical foam device failure were observed and com -pared between the two group .Results The observation group had significant advantages in the average operation time,graft healing time,the incidence of postoperative failure-the survival rate of flap and excellent and good rate compared with those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion Skin grafting in combination with the new med-ical foam can shorten the treatment cycle , reduce the postoperative complications , and improve the success rate of skin graft with good clinical effect .
