One-stage emergency reconstruction of open Gustilo-Anderson Grade ⅢB andⅢC tibial fractures

Abstract：With his own operative treatment experience and literature review ,the author suggested a treat-ment protocol for Gustilo-Anderson ⅢB and ⅢC tibial fractures .Following Advanced Trauma Life Support guide-lines as well as the concept of damage control surgery ,combined with the guidance of early intravenous broad-spec-trum antibiotics administration and meticulous wound debridement ,complications of severe tibial open fractures can be materially reduced if both bone fractures and soft tissue defects are reconstructed primarily with senior microsurgi -cal and standard osteosynthesis techniques .
