Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of tibial avulsion fracture of anterior cruciate liga-ment treated by“ +” suture fixation .Methods A total of 24 patients of tibial avulsion fracture of anterior cruciate ligament treated by “+” suture fixation from Mar .2009 to May 2014 were retrospectively analyzed .There were 15 males and 9 females with an average age of (35.1 ±13.6)(16-55) years.Twenty one cases were fresh and 3 were old.Seventeen cases were injuried from sports ,4 from falling and 3 from traffic accident. The curative effect after operation was observed .Results According to the X-ray examination ,all the patients achieved satisfied reduction and ligament tension recovery;8-10 weeks after the operation , X-ray reviewed complete fracture healing in all pa-tients.According to the Lysholm score, the average preoperative score was (30.15 ±2.07) and the postoperative score was (91.46 ±2.38) with statistical significance(t=-95.223,P<0.05).Postoperative Lachman test were negative with all knee flexion activities >90 degrees and normal line of force of the lower limbs .Conclusion The methods of “+” suture fixation for the treatment of tibial avulsion fracture of anterior cruciate ligament has advanta -ges such as small trauma , accurate reduction ,simple operation ,low cost and good functional recovery after surgery . It is worth of wide clinical application .
