Accelerating the pace of the construction of trauma and emergency surgery

Abstract：The construction of the trauma and emergency surgery has become one of the choices for the cur-rent innovation and development of many hospitals.The construction of trauma and emergency surgery is based on the treatment needs for patients,which should provide the optimal mechanism for the emergency care and can imple-ment the definitive trauma care and the interdisciplinary trauma treatment within the golden hour. Currently, our country has the theoretical basis and academic platform for the emergency surgery.As the trauma and emergency surgery is not the essential and legal discipline for most hospitals,it is the most important factor affecting its con-struction.About 21.03%of the Grade-3 hospitals have set up the department of trauma and emergency surgery or a similar discipline,but its regulation mode needs to be standardized.The“trauma surgery+trauma ICU+acute ab-dominal surgery” mode has the greatest potentiality.
