Effect of emergency medical service system in treating acute multiple injuries

Abstract：Objective To analyze the effect of emergency medical service system in treating acute multiple injuries.Methods Data of 2 461 acute multiple injuries treated in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University's Emergency Department and 687 in the other brother hospital were analyzed and compared from Oct .2008 to Apr.2015.The morality,disability rate and cure rate were analyzed and compared .Results Totally 963 patients treated in our hospital from Oct .2008 to Jun.2011 were ranked as group A .A total of 1 498 patients treated in our hospital from Jul.2011 to Apr.2015 were ranked as group B.Totally 687 patients treated in the other hospital were ranked as group C.The mortality and disability rate in group B were obviously lower than those in group A and C(P<0.05).Meanwhile,the cure rate of group B was obviously higher than that in group A and C(P<0.05).Conclusion Emergency medical service system can significantly improve the treatment effect of acute multiple injuries .
