Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of minimally invasive treatment of tibial intercon-dylar eminence fractures with internal fixation and wire fixation under arthroscopy. Methods Clinical data of 72 cases of intercondylar eminence fracture of the tibia who were admitted into Ezhou Central Hospital from May 2010 to May 2013 was analyzed.Patients were divided into hollow screw group and wire fixation group based on the fixation manner.Differences in their clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The Lysholm score for patients in the hollow screw group was higher than that of the wire fixation group 3,6,9 months after operation. And the time for taking postoperative knee function recovery training was earlier in the hollow screw group than that of the wire fixation group(P <0.05).There was no statistical difference in fracture healing time and follow -up time between the two groups(P >0.05).Conclusion Hollow screw fixation for the treatment of intercondylar emi-nence fracture of the tibia can obtain better knee function recovery.
