Abstract:Objective To discuss the clinical efficacy of minimally-invasive bone grafting and L-model loc-king compression plate in treating Pilon fracture. Methods Thirty-one cases of Pilon fractures underwent limited incision and internal fixation with L-model plate and bone grafting from Feb.2012 to Jan.2014.There were 31 males and 19 males, with age ranged from 26 to 73 years(average 54 years).According to Ruedi-Allgower classifi-cation,19 cases were type Ⅱ and 12 cases were type Ⅲ.Results All cases were followed up for 12 months in av-erage(ranged from 6 months to 24 months). The Mazur evaluation indicated excellent in 21 cases, good in 5 cases and fair in 5 cases, with an excellent and good rate of 84%.Conclusion L -model locking compression plate combining with minimally-invasive bone grafting for treating Pilon fractures can achieve good clinical effects.
