Management and current progress of spinal cord injury

Abstract：In modern societies,there is a growing tendency of spinal cord injury(SCI),whose traumatic condition is severe and multiple.SCI is devastating and life-threatening for patients and their family.Clinical man-agement in the acute setting needs careful evaluation, identification, prevention and advanced trauma life support. For patients with prediction for operation,early surgical decision,spinal cord compression,prevention of secondary injury and promotion of recovery are key measures.
