Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of different pressure under pneumoperitoneum states on cardic troponin T( cTnT) and mayoglobin ( Mb) after hepatic and splenic injury in rabbits. Methods Forty eight New Zealand rabbits were randomized into 6 groups according to the intra-abdominal pressures ( IAP) .After com-pletion of combined liver-spleen wound model, cTnT and Mb were observed at 0.5 hour after wound,1 hour after wound 2.5 hours after wound and 3 hours after wound respectively. Results Compared with hepatic injury of gradeⅢunder pneumoperitoneum states, the increase of cTnT in the group without pneumoperitoneum was not significant (P>0.05).In groups under pneumoperitoneum state,cTnT increased significantly (P<0.05) only in those with severe injuries(hepatic injury of grade Ⅲ) with longer time of pneumoperitoneum ( >2h).No difference in MB was observed between those with pneumoperitoneum and those without pneumoperitoneum. Conclusion Pneumo-peritoneum had greater effect on cardiac muscle than those without pnenmoperitoneum after severe hepatic and splenic injury, and the impact of low pressure pneumoperitoneum on cardiac muscle was smaller than that of high pressure.
