Emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury in the elderly

Abstract：Our country has entered the aging society .Incidence of traumatic brain injury in the elderly has been proved to be in an increase .There is difficulty in the management of trauma in the elderly .This problem has become a challenge to modern traumatology .Therefore ,further study should be applied to the anatomy and physiolo-gy of nervous system in the elderly .The diagnosis ,management and prognostic evaluation need to be done effective-ly.Effective intervention should be emphasized in the prevention and treatment of post -traumatic complications and underlying diseases .It is hoped that the curative success rate of the traumatic brain injury in the elderly can be raised.
