Abstract：Objective To study the therapeutie effect of moderate hypothermia on acute severed diffuse axonal injury(DAI).Methods Sixty patients were treated by moderate hypothermia.Twenty cases were controls with normal temperature.Results The results showed ICP of patients in group of moderate hypothermia treatment obviously lower compared to the controls(P<0.05).The mortality in treating group and controls was 26.7% and 55%,respectively(P<0.05).Conclusion Moderate hypothemia treatment can signficantly reduce ICP of patients with severe DAI and improve their prognosis.
