Abstract:Objective To optimize the training index system for emergency response to sudden infectious diseases in a tertiary infectious disease hospital and construct a set of training index system for emergency response to sudden infectious diseases applicable to nurses. Methods Based on related theoretical frameworks, literature analysis and brainstorming, the research group devised a preliminary framework of indicators for training the capability of nursesto respond quickly to emerging infectious diseases. After 2 rounds of correspondence with eighteen experts via email or WeChat, the indicator system was finalized. Results After 2 rounds of expert consultation, the effective response rates for the questionnaire were 100%and 94.4%,respectively.Some experts proposed modifications to the questionnaire, with response rates of 61.1%and 11.8%,respectively.The expert authority coefficients were 0.88 and 0.87,respectively.The Kendall concordance coefficients were 0.274 and 0.258,respectively.The coefficient of variation for each item ranged from 0 to 22.5%.The final training indicator system comprised 5 primary indicators,8 secondary indicators, and 22 tertiary ones. Conclusion The indicator system for training the response of nurses to emerging infectious diseases has proved to be feasible,well-grounded and reliable, which can help improve the ability of nurses to respond to emerging infectious diseases.
