Research progress on anti-fibrotic effect of traditional Chinese medicine

Abstract：Liver fibrosis is an important step of cirrhosis and liver cancer.There is still no effective western medicine while traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has significant superiority in the prevention and treatment of liver fibrosis and cirrhosis.This article focuses on the main problems on TCM treating liver fibrosis in clinical studies and clinical studies with high-level evidence-based medical evidence and summarizes the main mechanisms,providing references for further high-quality research on the blocking and reversing liver fibrosis with TCM.
