Research progress in laboratory examination of brucellosis

Abstract：Brucellosis,caused by Brucella infection,is one of the most common zoonotic diseases worldwide.It involves multiple systems of the organism,and due to its atypical clinical manifestations and lack of specific signs,it often leads to misdiagnosis and mistreatment,which increases the economic and mental burden of patients.Serologic,bacteriologic and molecular biologic tests serve as the main laboratory basis for diagnosing brucellosis.In this paper,we summarize the relevant laboratory tests for brucellosis,and compare and analyze the advantages and limitations of each test,in order to provide a reference for clinicians to diagnose brucellosis in a timely and accurate manner.
