Approach to cure chronic hepatitis C

Abstract：Hepatitis C virus is a major cause for chronic liver diseases. The treatment of chronic hepatitis C (CHC) has been changing rapidly since direct-acting antiviral agent (DAA) is subsequently approved for market. CHC patients at all stages can almost be"cured" by DAA. However, we must realize that the eradication of CHC infection doesn't mean the curing of CHC-related liver diseases. This paper aims to review the challenges of opportunities of the approach to cure CHC.
