Abstract:Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics in a case of human infection with H7N9 avian influenza, and to provide scientific evidence for the prevention and control of the epidemic. Methods Clinical data, laboratory examination results and exposure history of the patient at seizure and hospital visit were collected and analyzed by epidemiological investigation methods. Results H7N9 avian influenza virus in the patient was positive by nucleic acid test, and the results of close contacts and intensive monitoring were negative. Conclusions The patient of human infection with H7N9 avian influenza is a local infected case, and the source of infection is highly related to the contact history of live birds. Through close contacts investigation and intensive monitoring, there is no evidence to prove a human transmission.
