Abstract:Bacterial infection is one of the most important leading causes of liver failure, multiple complications and death in patients with liver cirrhosis. Some measures such as preventing bacterial infection, early diagnosis and early detection, as well as timely and effective anti-infection treatment, are proposed to reduce the mortality of patients with liver cirrhosis. This study aims to summarize and review the research progress regarding the pathogenesis, epidemiology, early diagnosis and treatment, as well as prevention strategies of bacterial infection.
