The role and clinical progress of exosome in liver disease

Abstract:Exosomes are vesiculo-vacuolar organelles derived from cells and coupled with different types of lipid, protein, RNA and other bioactive molecule though the protection of lipid membrane, exosomes exert multidirentional regulation effecr on recipient cells. In this study, we summarize the basic characteristics of exosomes, the role of exosomes in liver diseases, and the application of exosomes in clinical diagnosis.
