JIANG Rong-meng
Abstract:Measles is a highly contagious, serious disease caused by virus. It remains one of the leading causes of death among young children globally, despite the availability of a safe and effective vaccine. The National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People's Republic of China has issued a new "Measles Diagnostic Criteria" (WS 296-2017) on 24th July, 2017, in order to achieve measles elimination targets for 2020 and early detection of measles patients, while avoiding misdiagnosis. The diagnosis basis of measles, the definition of probable cases, excluded cases and other contents have been modified.
