Abstract：This paper interpretats the nomenclanture of natural history of HBV infection, indications and strategies of anti-viral therapy, choice of initial and combined drugs, discontinuation time and treatment in special patient groups in EASL 2017 Clinical Practice Guidelines on the management of HBV infection. It aims to improve clinical application of the guideline.
