A case report of imported malignant malaria

Abstract：Malaria is one kind of parasitic disease which is infected by plasmodium. Both malignant plasmodium and babesiosis are not easy to distinguish under the smear microscopy. A case report of imported malignant malaria who was admitted by The First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University are analyzed about the clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment of malignant malaria. To know shortcomings of their diagnosis and better the identification of malignant malaria from babesiosis. The docters need to improve the ability of clinical diagnosis, so as to make correct diagnosis and early treatment and to avoid misdiagnosis.
