Research progress of serological detection index for liver fibrosis

Abstract：Liver fibrosis is the pathological process of abnormal proliferation of fibrous connective tissue in the liver when the liver cells undergo necrosis and inflammatory stimulation. It is an important intermediate link in the development of chronic liver diseases. At present, the gold standard for diagnosis of liver fibrosis is still the pathological biopsy, but it has many shortcomings and insufficiency, which makes it difficult to be widely carried out in clinical practice. The related serological detection index is simple and rapid, and has less trauma, especially suitable for the patients who cannot receive live puncture. This review focuses on the research progress of serological detection index in the liver fibrosis diagnosis.
