Research progress of Bacillus cereus foodborne diseases

Abstract：Bacillus cereus is a member of genus Bacillus, and is closely associated with human because it can cause foodborne diseases. This article overviews the pathogenic characteristics and pathogenicity of Bacillus cereus, and the epidemiological characteris-tics of Bacillus cereus foodborne diseases, so as to put forward suggestions on scientific measures to prevent and control food contamina-tion with Bacillus cereus and to protect public health.
