Abstract：The ongoing 2014 Ebola outbreak has the greatest number of infected patients and deaths in history. The authors give the updated information about the outbreak, and try to provide evidence for addressing public health emergencies by summarizing the experience and lessons from 2014 Ebola outbreak.
