Abstract：The related complications are the main causes of mortality in patients with end-stage liver disease, so it is of great importance to strengthen the management and standardized diagnosis and treatment of the complications related to end-stage liver disease. This article focuses on the management and standardized diagnosis and treatment of cirrhotic patients who develop ascites, including ascites-related spontaneous bacterial peritonitis, hepatorenal syndrome, dilutional hyponatremia and hepatic pleural effu-sion.
