Traditional Chinese medicine treatment of measles and its current situation

Abstract：There are many valuable experience in treatment of measles by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine therapy shows great advantages in treatment of severe measles and its complications. While the advantages of TCM are brought into full play, further research, which aims at the prevention, treatment, recovery in the late stage of measles and other phases and links of clinical treatment of measles, should be strengthened, so as to lay an important foundation for the prevention and treatment of measles and other infectious diseases by TCM. The article focuses on the theory source, etiology, pathogenesis, and TCM therapy of measles and the management of its complications, for the purpose of providing evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment of measles.
