Current status of research on hepatitis B and its prevention and treatment in China

Abstract：HBV infection and HBV-related diseases have caused tremendous burden on public health and economic develop-ment in China. Although great efforts in the prevention and treatment of HBV infection have been made in China, we are still facing big challenges in antiviral therapy of HBV infection. This review focuses on current status of research on hepatitis B and it preven-tion and treatment in China.
