Research and prospect of biotherapy and cell therapy in severe liver diseases

Abstract：At present, biotherapy and cell therapy have emerged as potential treatments instead of liver transplantation, but there is still a lack of enough experience and evidence in its clinical application, which requires in-depth studies. The authors briefly summarize the current status of the basic research and the clinical application of biotherapy and cell therapy in severe liver diseases.
