Abstract：In this paper, the passenger demands of railways are obtained by a Log it model under the condition of competition between different traffic modes and an equilibrium model for different sorting trains is proposed. The derivatives o f demands of different sorting trains with respect to their passenger-ticket pr i ces are found through sensitivity analysis. Finally, the application of sensitiv ity analysis is illustrated with a practical example.
